Payment and Refund Policy
How payment works, what happens on failure, and refunds.
1. How payment works
SwishrJobs accepts payment in USDC over the x402 protocol, to a receive-only address. When you accept a quote, the service returns payment requirements. You sign an authorisation for the exact amount. The authorisation is verified and reserved before the job runs, and settlement is confirmed on the blockchain before the job is recorded as paid.
2. You are charged only for work that succeeds
A job that fails its verification is reported as failed and is not charged. Only the amount you accepted is charged; the price is fixed before work begins and does not change afterwards.
3. Payments sent in error
- If you send more than the quoted amount, the excess is not applied to the job. Email hello@swishrjobs.com with the transaction details and the operator will reconcile it.
- If you pay for an expired or void quote, no job is created. The payment is treated as an incorrect payment and handled as below.
- If you pay twice for one job, the second payment is an incorrect payment. It is not applied to a second job unless you order one.
4. Refunds and incorrect payments
Where a payment was made for work that was not performed, or was made in error, the operator will return the amount. Because payments are made in USDC on a public network, a refund is a transfer back to the address the payment came from, and the operator may need you to confirm that address. Network fees on the return transfer are borne by the operator where the error was the operator's, and otherwise may be deducted. The operator does not operate an escrow or a customer balance: it does not hold funds for you, and it cannot reverse a blockchain transaction.
5. Disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, email hello@swishrjobs.com with the job identifier and the settlement transaction hash. The operator will investigate against the payment ledger and the audit log, and will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Currency, tax, and price changes
Prices are published in US dollars and settled in USDC. The operator is not a bank or a payment institution and does not provide currency conversion. Prices may change; the price that applies to your job is the one in the quote you accepted. Any tax that applies to your purchase is your responsibility unless the operator states otherwise.
7. Consumer customers
If you are a consumer, nothing in this policy removes any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations, where they apply. The service is built for business use, but that does not take away a consumer's statutory rights if a consumer buys.
